Runs `bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off`. This stops Windows from launching its Hyper-V hypervisor at boot — the layer that Virtualization-Based Security, Memory Integrity, Credential Guard, WSL2, Windows Sandbox, and Hyper-V VMs all ride on. With it off, the CPU runs natively with no virtualization tax, which is the single biggest FPS recovery on VBS-enabled OEM systems. HEAVY trade-off: WSL2, Docker Desktop, Windows Sandbox, Hyper-V VMs, and VBS-based security all stop working until reverted. Reboot required. Revert restores the prior launch type.
MaxTweaks applies this tweak with one click and snapshots your original setting first, so you can revert it cleanly at any time. A System Restore point is offered before batch changes, and every tweak links to its official source.
