Sets WorkitemCompletionTracking = 0 under Session Manager\kernel. By default the kernel records detailed completion metadata for every dispatched work item — used by ETW providers and the Performance Toolkit. The recording is cheap individually but adds up on systems doing tens of thousands of work items per second (heavy I/O, busy gaming sessions). Turning it off shaves a fixed per-item cost off the kernel work pipeline. Safe; reboot required.
MaxTweaks applies this tweak with one click and snapshots your original setting first, so you can revert it cleanly at any time. A System Restore point is offered before batch changes, and every tweak links to its official source.
