Runs `powercfg /setacvalueindex SCHEME_CURRENT SUB_PROCESSOR IDLEDISABLE 1` on the active plan's AC profile. Stops the CPU from entering deep C-states, removing wake-from-idle jitter for latency-critical / competitive scenarios. The cost is real: higher idle temperatures and power draw, and no benefit on laptops. Desktop + good cooling only. Reboot required. Revert re-enables idle states.
MaxTweaks applies this tweak with one click and snapshots your original setting first, so you can revert it cleanly at any time. A System Restore point is offered before batch changes, and every tweak links to its official source.
