Runs powercfg /setacvalueindex SCHEME_CURRENT SUB_SLEEP RTCWAKE 0 to disable wake timers on AC power. Wake timers let scheduled tasks, updates, and maintenance pull the machine out of sleep on their own — the usual cause of a PC that 'wakes up by itself' at night. Disabling them keeps the system asleep until you wake it, and removes the associated background-work spikes. Reboot required. Revert re-enables wake timers.
MaxTweaks applies this tweak with one click and snapshots your original setting first, so you can revert it cleanly at any time. A System Restore point is offered before batch changes, and every tweak links to its official source.
