Runs `fsutil behavior set memoryusage 2`. Raises the amount of memory NTFS reserves for its paged-pool metadata structures (the master file table cache, name lookups, etc.) from the default level 1 to level 2. On a system with plenty of RAM, a larger NTFS cache means fewer trips to disk for directory/metadata operations — snappier file browsing and faster operations across large file sets. Apply only with comfortable RAM headroom (8 GB+). Reboot required. Revert returns to the default level 1.
MaxTweaks applies this tweak with one click and snapshots your original setting first, so you can revert it cleanly at any time. A System Restore point is offered before batch changes, and every tweak links to its official source.
